About the event
An event meant for everyone. Utilizing our spaces resources we are hosting a Hackathon in honor of the Silicon Valley. Powered by the Hackerrank's Platform, this event has a prize and will also increase your Hackerrank score. We will also give a little bit more information on how to best use Hackerrank to get a future job.
Bring your own computer, preferably a Laptop. Almost all the Hackerrank Tasks are submitted and tested within. Please email contact@zedcoworking.com if you plan to use a desktop computer and not a laptop.
Most language on https://www.hackerrank.com/environment are supported in this Hackathon. Any language used in the normal HackerRank Platform are supported.
Transportation: We will not be offering transportation but driving is the easiest. We have multiple bus stops near us through Bus 57 and 58 [Saratoga & Blackford Stop ID: 62508] [Saratoga & Moorpark Stop ID: 6255] [Saratoga & Manzanita Stop ID: 62507] [Saratoga & Manzanita Stop ID: 62552] in order of proximity to the space. Please use Google maps to ensure that you get to the location hassle free.
Fee: Event is free when you register down below.
Prize: We are currently deciding on a prize.
Food and snacks will be provided. While water and Monster Energy Drink will also be provided!
Schedule:
5:30 pm - 6 pm | Precheckin and Opening
6 pm - 6:30 pm | Checkin
6:30 pm - 6:45 pm | A Hello with a little explanation about ZED and Hackerrank
6:45 pm - 7 pm | Distribution of test codes
7 pm - 9:30 pm | Two and half hours allowed for Hackathon
9:45 pm | Announce winner!
9:50 pm | Take Photos with Winner!
